Croissant was soggy and cold, Vietnamese matcha had no actual matcha flavour and the pudding tasted like old cardboard. Love the Delhi perch but this was so sad.

The food and drinks were very average. The place doesn't stand up to the franchise name that is there in other cities. Not worth the price

Wanted to share an absolutely horrendous experience we had today at this placed called Perch cafe located at Hotel Oscar in Union Square , Bandra.1. Barring 2 people , all the staff was totally raw and had no clue on how to serve, what menus to give and how to give service . 2. Yet we continued giving them the benefit of doubt and placed our order. Being eggetarian , made it clear that we want no meat or chicken in our omlette and ordered an egg white omlette with spinach and tomatoes . Also ordered some other vegetarian dishes from the menu. 3. To our horror we received the omlette with what looked like pieces of chicken inside . And to make it worse, there were pieces of Aluminium foil in our other vegetarian dishes. Sharing below photos of the same. 4. We brought this to the attention of our server who took ages to inquire . After some 15 minutes , another person comes and asks what the problem was. When we showed him this, he unapologetically said it was indeed chicken . 5. We then spoke to the person who was probably the manager or the most senior server in the restaurant and told him what was happening. To our utmost horror, rather than apologising or having any regret , he started getting aggressive with us and tells us to keep our voice down and starts raising his voice at us. Needless to say, we were left with no choice but to walk out of this place in disgust. Really a shame that places like this are allowed to function in our great city Mumbai. Sharing this experience to caution all you good Mumbaikars about going to this place and risking your health. It does not deserve to exist . Stay safe and have a lovely weekend.
