3 Star Budget-Friendly Stay in Chennai's City Center Room Rates (as of February 2025, inclusive of taxes and GST): AC Rooms: Single Occupancy: ₹1,300 Double Occupancy: ₹1,500 Non-AC Rooms: Single Occupancy: ₹1,000 Double Occupancy: ₹1,200 Extra Bed: ₹500 per person Pros: Budget-Friendly – One of the cheaper options in the city center. Great Location – Close to the Singapore and USA embassies and well-connected to the city. Safe to Go Out – The surroundings are generally safe, but it’s always good to be cautious. Room Options Available – AC and Non-AC rooms for both single and double occupancy. Cons: No Room Service – You won’t get any help with food, cleaning, or basic services. No Towels, Shampoo, or Soap – Bring your own essentials because the hotel doesn’t provide them. Average Cleanliness – Rooms and bathrooms are not well-maintained, so don't expect spotless conditions. Noise Issues – A club and pub attached to the hotel cause bass vibrations in the rooms at night, which can be disturbing.
