Rating: (1/5 only because the venue itself is good) I recently had my sacred thread ceremony at Pavitras, and let me be VERY clear from the start: The venue is genuinely beautiful — lovely garden, peaceful ambience, and the place itself has great potential. The pooja area and general service were fine, and the food was okay to decent. BUT… all of this gets destroyed the moment you come into contact with one person: the manager, Raju Ramaiya ((I am attaching photograph so you can see him clearly even from a distance.) THE MANAGER RUINED THE EXPERIENCE This man was unbelievably arrogant, interfering, and full of unnecessary attitude. Throughout the entire event, he kept poking his nose in everything — even things that were absolutely none of his business. Constantly telling us random stories about how he “handles situations” in other restaurants, bragging about himself, acting like he’s some legendary expert we are supposed to admire. Nobody asked, nobody needed it — yet he kept doing it. Completely self-obsessed. THE FOOD INCIDENT When me and my friends finally went to eat (VERY late because obviously I was busy attending guests — it was MY function), there were no plates, and the food was bloody cold. And instead of fixing the issue, he actually yelled at me. For asking for plates. Imagine shouting at the main person of the function because plates are missing? This alone shows how unprofessional he is. PAYMENT & ATTITUDE One day before the event, as HE instructed, we humbly paid the full amount. But his body language was dripping with arrogance. He behaved like he was doing us a favour by taking OUR money. He acted like the owner, but honestly, no owner behaves like this — because owners know how to treat clients with respect. THE DECOR INCIDENT Our decor man was present and ready to discuss everything. The manager had ZERO need to involve himself — yet he sat there like he was the head of the committee. Then came the worst line of all. He told us: “Just confirm everything on WhatsApp in written because guests usually turn their face around when the whole work gets done.” Excuse me?? HOW DARE he talk like that? How can a manager openly imply that HIS clients are the type to run away or cheat after the work is completed? This level of disrespect was unbelievable. THE ROOM — TOTALLY UNWORTHY We needed one room, and the condition was honestly shocking: • Bedsheet was dirty and stained • Blanket was stinking • Bathroom full of dust • Bucket broken • Shower not working properly And for THIS, he first said the room was ₹2000 for 10 AM – 4 PM. When we refused, suddenly it became ₹1500 for the whole day — still extremely overpriced for such low, unhygienic quality. (Photos will be attached in the actual review.) Not to mention, when we first went to check the room, he again behaved arrogantly, as if we were inconveniencing him. Seriously?? FINAL THOUGHTS The sad part is — Pavitras is actually a good venue. The garden is lovely, ambience is peaceful, and it could easily be a great place for functions. But a venue is only as good as the people running it, and unfortunately almost every negative experience came from one person: this manager. If you book this place, you will love the surroundings… But pray you don’t have to deal with the manager. Because one rude, ego-filled, self-obsessed person can ruin an entire event — and that’s exactly what happened with us.

We recently booked Pavitras Restaurant, Akhaliya Circle for my brother's engagement on 25th August with around 190 guests. The overall experience was excellent. The arrangements were well managed by Manager Raju Bhai and his team, who ensured everything went smoothly. The food quality and quantity were both outstanding, and our guests truly appreciated it. The staff was polite, professional, and very supportive throughout the function. A big thanks to Raju Bhai and the entire team for making our family occasion so memorable. Highly recommended for any family function or celebration! Service: 4
