I recently stayed at Pawani Resort in Barkot during my Gangotri trip, and it was a highly disappointing experience. The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional, which ruined the overall vibe of the place. Though the staff members Devendra and Gourav were courteous and helpful, the property itself was very unhygienic with a major housefly problem. To make matters worse, we were charged nearly triple the amount listed on their website without any justification. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay. Definitely not worth the price or the hassle. Service: 2
