I recently visited Pathayam Family Restaurant in Mannarkkad and had an excellent dining experience! I ordered the biryani, al faham, and fried rice, all of which were of good quality and quantity. The atmosphere was clean and hygienic, and the staff's behavior was top-notch. The food was delicious, and I appreciated the attention to detail in maintaining a neat and tidy environment. We had stayed in the Mount View Resort, 7 km from this restaurant. There is no restaurant in the resort and they gave phone number of this restaurant. We ordered chicken biryani for lunch. The Biriyani was not good and the chicken was rubbery. Honey Chicken also was worst. We didn't have any other option as there's no other restaurant nearby. We mentioned the worst food quality to the restaurant and they apologised and said they will correct it. For night dinner we ordered by 7pm and got only after 8.30 pm. And, the food is worst again. We didn't eat anything and just disposed. For the kid we gave some snacks. When mentioned the same to the reception they mentioned this is the first time they are hearing this complaint. I am really surprised by their reply. Either they are lying or only inebriated people come to the resort and they don't mind the food quality. The quality of the food is worst and we are surprised how they got so many 4 and 5 stars. Even though this restaurant was not on our way, we wanted to come here and see the place in person and pass on this feedback. But then we decided we have already wasted our health, time and money for this restaurant twice (lunch and dinner) and didn't want to waste anymore and hence didn't go this place. We took dinner in pathayam restaurant.The experience was not too bad but customer service was good.taste of the food was average.To add on the top floor was full of tiny flies as it was night time.
