I visited Patang Hotel yesterday. While the food was just average, what really disappointed us was the poor service. The captain never came to our table unless we literally called out to him. Every order took at least 20 minutes to arrive, and when we finally ordered Dum Biryani, it took more than 30 minutes. Each time I had to remind the captain, and his standard reply was, “Aa raha hai.” We entered the hotel around 8:30 PM and ended up leaving at 10:30 PM, only because each dish was served very late. I even spoke to the manager. Initially, he was polite, but later his response was dismissive: “Hota hai kabhi kabhi, aap baith jaiye, khana aa jayega.” Honestly, I had chosen Patang to celebrate Sunday with my family, but the service completely spoiled the experience Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
