This used to be my absolute favourite place for pasta in Pondicherry. I’ve visited so many times, and honestly, I’ve always loved their food. But the staff has always been a little rude and impolite; I usually ignored it because the food made up for it.But this time, it was honestly too much. There was a small payment misunderstanding. I paid the full amount through the Zomato app instead of scanning their restaurant QR. Instead of explaining it properly, the staff started shouting at us, saying things like, “why did you pay on Zomato, I won’t get the full amount,” and then literally told us to get out of the restaurant. It was so humiliating and unnecessary, especially when it wasn’t even our fault.It’s really sad because I genuinely loved this place and have always spoken highly of it. But after this experience, I don’t think I’ll ever go back. Good food can’t make up for such disrespectful treatment.
