Place is good. Food is good. But most of the dishes on the menu are unavailable. Also the service is average. No one is concerned about people waiting for the food. Price per person: ₹600–800 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

This is an authentic place; the service was good, but it felt a little costly. I ordered litti chokha, and the taste was good. Suggested: In the dessert you have to try lassi or kheer. Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian

I had heard a lot about Parampara Baati Chokha, especially for its traditional food and village-style ambiance, so I was quite excited to visit. While the food was decent, I was disappointed with the ambiance, as it didn’t quite match my expectations. Ambiance – Not as Authentic as Expected (2.5/5) I was expecting a beautifully designed artistic village theme, but unfortunately, the ambiance felt more like a regular restaurant with some rustic elements added. The walls had a mud-like finish, and they used wooden seating, but it didn’t have the charm or detailed aesthetics of a well-executed village theme. The lighting was dim, and the place didn’t feel as vibrant as I had hoped. Additionally, the upkeep could have been better, as some areas seemed poorly maintained. Overall, the ambiance was underwhelming, especially for a place that markets itself as an authentic village experience. Food – Tasty but Not Outstanding (3.5/5) We ordered their Baati Chokha and Keshariya Kheer, both of which were decent but not extraordinary. • Baati Chokha: The baati was crisp and had a nice smoky aroma, but it was not served hot, which reduced the overall enjoyment. The chokha was flavorful, with a good balance of spices, but it wasn’t anything exceptional. • Keshariya Kheer: The dessert was rich and creamy, with a well-balanced saffron flavor. It was probably the highlight of the meal, though the texture could have been smoother. Service – Slow and Inattentive (3/5) The service wasn’t very efficient. The staff was polite but not very attentive, and the food took longer than expected to arrive. Given that the restaurant wasn’t too crowded, I was expecting a quicker response time. Value for Money – Slightly Overpriced (3/5) For the quality of food and service, I felt the pricing was on the higher side. If the ambiance had been better maintained and the service more efficient, the prices would have felt more justified. Final Verdict – Not as Authentic as It Claims (3/5) Parampara Baati Chokha offers a decent meal, but it doesn’t fully deliver on its promise of a true village dining experience. While the food is good, the ambiance lacks the artistic village charm I was expecting, and the service needs improvement. If you go in with lower expectations, you might enjoy it, but if you’re looking for a truly immersive village-style restaurant, this might not be the best choice. Would I return? Maybe, but I wouldn’t go out of my way. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2 Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian
