Visited Param Da Dhaba (Tandoori Roti & Dal) Restaurant. What an extremely overhyped place! The food vloggers have overly talked about it all the while. Nothing fancy 3 tables that can accomodate 12 people and 50 standing outside to get in for a humble plate of Dal, tandoori roti and garlic rice. The menu is limited, offering Tandoori Roti, Dal, and Brown Rice, which are prepared in a unique, butter-laden style. Ambience and Service needs to be renovated to attract varied categories of customers. This place may not be your thing if you have hygiene concerns. I'm so glad this place is still there. This is a hometown gem for me. I used to eat here with my dad in that tiny restaurant when I lived there. I moved to another country couple years ago and haven't been back since but this will be the first place I eat outside my home. It's ridiculously good. This is pure nostalgia for me. They hosts are wonderful, humble, unassuming people. It's a very very modest restaurant but don't fall for that trap. They have only 3-4 items. Dal, roti, rice (you can ask for a fried option btw). And you have to bring your own butter from the store next door. Go nuts. And customize your spice to medium-high. Eat at the restaurant for best flavors rather than taking it home. It won't be the same. Don't believe reviews that say there is nothing special about the food - they have missed the point of eating here completely. This place has been a fan favorite among the older generations for a reason.
