The menu of Indian cuisine is recommended to try at this restaurant. Do not leave without enjoying good coleslaw, grilled chicken and mexican rice. Food delivery is an important benefit of Papadum. Zomato’s algorithm was showing Papadum every time I opened the app and I gave in one day. Ordered Paneer Chettinadu and Malabar Parathas for dinner. Last year in August, I was traveling to Tamil Nadu and was gorging on Chettinad cuisine tirelessly and the throwback pictures from the last year is also kinda responsible for me ordering Papadum. Coming to the taste, I must say Papadum came really really close to what I had there. The taste of Chettinad fresh ground spices and abundant use of curry leaves did send me back to the Malabar coast. The flaky, greasy parathas too were a treat to my taste buds. The portion size is also very good. Half of the curry was left after polishing off the half with three parathas. Next day the remaining curry was used to make a Pulao of sorts by mixing the rice. I added lots of butter and more spices to the remaining curry to incorporate the taste of additional rice. I did not want it to taste bland. Two meals were sorted in one order! Coming to the Papadum that comes with every order from Papadum, it tasted more like fried Urad Papad and different from Appalam I have had in Tamil Nadu. Maybe the Papad from Papadum is Ulundhu Appalam (Urad Dal Papad sans the rice flour)! Also, thanks to the weather the Papad had gone soggy but I’m okay with that.
