Tried the Panchavati Special Veg Thali at Panchvati Veg Restaurant, and overall, it was a decent experience. The naan was soft and well-made, but the papad was under-roasted and lacked the expected crispiness. While the variety of items in the thali was appreciable, the overall taste could use a bit of enhancement to truly stand out. The restaurant is a pure vegetarian place offering both Indian and Chinese cuisines. The ambience is cosy, and it was surprisingly empty during our evening visit, making for a peaceful dining experience. A big plus is the parking space available right below the restaurant — a definite advantage in a town like Tinsukia, where finding parking can be quite a hassle on busy days. A good option for vegetarians looking for a quiet meal, but there’s room for improvement in terms of food preparation. The staff were attentive and kind.
