Great to relive nostalgia, but at the cost of waiting in a line. Good for a one off experience, but nothing out of the ordinary, just many types of puris (pretty much taste the same)

Pancham Puriwala is one of the oldest (more than a century & a half) & one of the most renowned restaurants serving food since 1848 started as a humble puri-bhaji stall. The ambience is modest yet clean. This place is famous for breakfasts and they serve fresh hot Puris. The place is small and can get congested during the peak hours and you’ll need to wait for a seat. However, the service is very quick. They attract massive crowd due to the sheer taste of its food. Pancham Puriwala is a sort of working-class eatery, with communal tables. Serving only vegetarian food, they offer a diverse option in their thali. The Delux Thali and Pancham thali being the most ordered ones. The food is super pocket-friendly and definitely satisfies your hunger. You can also parcel the food which is a good option if you’re traveling outstation from CST station and do not want to have the railway pantry food. You must visit the place once and witness the legacy of Pancham Puriwala.
