We decided to try the famous Panchakattu Dosa after skipping it yesterday because it was too hot. The place is very crowded and has a self-service, mess-style setup, and our order took a long time to arrive. We ordered several items, including Neyyi Karam Idly, Plain Dosa, Karam Uthappam, Palyam Plain Dosa, and Sambar Idly. The dosas were a bit greasy but cooked well, and the sambar was on the spicier side. The chutneys were just okay. Overall, the place felt overrated. The Uthappam was good and properly roasted. However, it took over 30 minutes for our order to be ready. We might skip this one next time. May be some AC dine in helps. Orders for parcel were packed well, sweet shop style! However, this time, the dosas ordered through Zomato arrived cold, which was quite disappointing. This experience has led me to rethink my reliance on food delivery services.It is unclear whether the issue lies with Panchakattu Dosa, Kondapur or the delivery partner, but both need to enhance their performance. The restaurant should ensure the food is fresh, warm, and dispatched quickly, while the delivery partner must use a hot case to handle orders carefully and protect them from wind exposure. This place was overly crowded, and packed with people, but somehow they were operating so smoothly and getting the orders to the customers on time. You can see the dosa making live as well, the place is clean and is a typical South Indian breakfast place We tried their masala dosa, onion dosa and also variety of fresh fruit juices (which are also made in front of you).
