The first thing that happens in this room is silence. Not the empty kind, but the kind that hums softly under the warm light, like a held breath before a beautiful note. Sitting here in Palmorama, Goa, feels less like entering a hotel room and more like stepping into a portrait someone has been painting for years and only now decided to share. Nothing is perfect here, and that is exactly why everything feels right. The cushions are a little sunken, inviting you to collapse, not pose. The low seating almost forces you to slow down; you cannot rush when your body is this close to the floor. The table carries the ordinary clutter of honest living—bottles, bags, a plate that remembers a recent conversation—yet somehow it all arranges itself into a still-life you want to sketch. The light is the real magician. That woven lamp doesn’t just illuminate; it spills a golden hush over every surface, turning walls into canvas and shadows into brushstrokes. Even the ceiling fan throws its own quiet choreography onto the roof, like moving ink stains drifting over sepia paper. You can just lie there and watch the light perform, and suddenly an hour has passed without you checking the time. The room itself feels like it was built around the idea of a wandering mind. The rough textures, the earthy tones, the slightly wild branch arching across the ceiling as if it grew there by accident—all of it gives your thoughts permission to be messy, unfinished, honest. You start noticing tiny things: how the curtains fall in soft, unplanned folds, how the plants lean into the light, how the mirror doesn’t just reflect the room, but extends it, as if there is a quieter, parallel world just a step away. It feels like someone has put a soul in these four walls. Not a designed, curated soul, but a lived-in one—someone who knows what it is to be both restless and at peace. The room holds you the way a good friend does: loosely, without asking you to be anything other than what you are when the world stops looking. You can feel the day’s noise dissolving, layer by layer, until only your truest thoughts remain. For an artist, this space is dangerous in the best way. It is impossible to sit here and not create. The room keeps offering you stories: in the twist of the rope around the branch, in the tired elegance of the cushions, in the way the table waits patiently for the next cup of coffee, the next unfinished sentence in your notebook. Your mind starts framing photographs you haven’t clicked yet, writing poems you didn’t know you were carrying, sketching lines in the air with idle fingers. This is not a place you simply stay in; this is a room that collaborates with you. It edits your mood, softens your edges, and hands your imagination a gentle, steady pulse. In the quiet glow of Palmorama, Goa, you don’t just rest—you remember that there is still so much beauty left in being imperfect, unfinished, and deeply, wonderfully alive.

I had a lovely stay at the sunrise suite. Clean and spacious suite // Beautiful interior , helpfull staff. Goooood pizza. The sunrise suite is specifically amazing because of the amazing sunrise which is visible from the balcony and Shala. Every morning I could do my morning practice in the Shala and feel the early breeze and light from the sun. Thank you staff for making my time very gentle and relaxed over there. Warm regards , Esmeralda
