If you’re in Mangalore and haven’t been to Pabbas yet, are you even living right? We went to Pabbas on a buzzing Friday evening after hearing legendary tales about this place. As soon as we reached, we were welcomed not by ice cream, but by a token system and a waiting line longer than the plot of a daily soap. The hunger levels escalated from hungry to hungrier to we-will-start-eating-the-menu-soon. We actually joked with the person taking our order that if the ice cream wasn’t amazing after waiting 45 minutes, we weren’t going to pay. (Don’t worry, we’re not criminals. Just very, very hangry.) BUT—once our order was placed, everything changed. Service was shockingly quick (like, blink-and-your-sundae-is-here quick), and the food? Let’s just say, the gods of dessert were smiling down on us that day. We tried sandwiches and burgers, which were genuinely good, but the ice creams? Mind. Blown. The Pabbas Special was a party of textures and flavours – cold, crunchy, gooey, creamy, dreamy. And the Gudbud? I don’t know what wizardry that is, but I felt spiritually healed after eating it. Moral of the story: Yes, there’s a wait. Yes, it’s crowded. And yes, it’s 1000% worth it. If you’re visiting Mangalore—or even just passing through—make a pit stop at Pabbas. Your taste buds will write you a thank-you letter. Rating: 5 stars, one extra for melting my soul in the best way

Ice cream lovers has to visit once THE PABBAS. There we get the best ice creams ever tasted. Price is affordable. Taste is 10/10 Service 10/10 Have to wait for a while because of the crowd and the wait will.bw worth at last. Every ice cream is unique and different.

Pabba's is an iconic ice cream parlor in Mangalore. It is an outlet of the parent brand Ideal Ice Cream introduced to Mangalore by S Prabhakar Kamath in 1975. Pabbas is an ice cream parlour in the city of Mangalore, Karnataka, India. It is an outlet of the parent brand Ideal Ice Cream, and consistently listed as one of the must visit places when in or around Mangalore. The flavours of ice cream at Pabbas include the Gadbad, Pabbas Special and Tiramisu. We ordered gadbad icecream and tiramisu and we also tried veg cutlet and vegetable sandwich. All is good .
