PJ Restaurant offers you nice food and a place to rest after a long walk around Goa Science Centre. Carpe diem – Chinese and Sichuan cuisines wait for you.
I ordered king fish thali ..curry was not Goan style and did not liked it nor the squids which were not fresh and tasteless but the king fish rava fry was fresh and tasty and they also serve 2 big pieces in one thali which I ordered through zomato.
Suggestion- to make Goan style fish curry and add it in their fish thali
We started for a different restaurant but we ended to eat dinner at Papa Johns. It’s located a street behind Fortune hotel.
It’s a small but cosy restaurant. Not to much to it, regular ambiance. They have a fridge with displayed fish to choose for your meal and that’s an attraction for the clients.
Service was slow, it took like 25 minutes just to bring the soups. Fortunately we were not in a hurry.
To eat we had Tom Yom chicken soup (even though I ordered prawns soup and charged for the prawn soup), Prawn Bisque, Veg Pulao and Hot Garlic Prawn curry. Tom Yom soup was just average but the Bisque... WOW! I don’t know what they did to that soup but it was amazing, so fragrant. The prawn curry wasn’t that great and moreover just 4, 4 prawns in the whole curry.
An average place to eat.
