I’ve had food from Ovenly four times, and unfortunately, my experience has only gone downhill. The first time, I visited their Scheme 140 outlet, and their cheesecake was one of the best I had in Indore—rich, creamy, and absolutely delightful. However, the next two times I ordered via food delivery platforms, the cheesecake was dry and tasted a bit stale. I assumed this might be due to the long delivery distance (~5 km). Yesterday, I decided to give them another chance and picked up a macaron, Red Velvet Cream Cheese, Tiramisu, and Fudge from their Vijay Nagar outlet. While the other desserts were just okay, the Tiramisu smelled off and tasted sour, clearly not fresh. When I contacted the restaurant, their response was beyond disappointing. First, they asked me to bring it back 10 km, which was completely unreasonable. When I refused, they simply told me to refrigerate it for now. Since last night, I’ve had four calls with them, and they kept delaying, saying that the concerned person wasn’t available, then would come by 2 PM, then at 2:50 PM, he still wasn’t there. At this point, I’ve given up on getting a refund for the spoiled Tiramisu. After such poor food quality and even worse customer service, I will never visit or order from them again.
