Yummy pan Asian style food that tickles the taste buds. The hot and sour soup is highly recommended. Had amazingly big but tender lotus stems. There was not too much rush as it was a week day so I guess even if you walk in , you can still get a table. Clean washrooms and well stocked bar adds to the premium vibe. RATS, RATS & RATS I’ve visited XO at JW Marriott, Chandigarh, quite a few may be 5-6 times and usually enjoyed the food. But this Saturday, when I went with friends to celebrate a birthday, we had a really shocking experience. While dining, we actually saw a large rat inside the restaurant area. At a place carrying the JW Marriott name and claiming 5-star standards, this is just unacceptable. What surprised us even more was the casual reaction — a staff member came, tapped near the table, and walked off without any explanation or assurance. The Japanese and Thai dishes we ordered tasted good, but honestly, the bigger concern is hygiene. How can anyone feel confident about food safety after witnessing something like this? We paid a premium expecting the best, and instead left worried and disappointed. It completely ruined what was supposed to be a special occasion, and more importantly, it shook the trust we had in this place. I truly hope the management takes this seriously.
