Disappointed with the experience at Orange City Saoji, Juhu. Visited recently and was quite let down by both the service and the food. The staff was uncooperative and seemed uninterested in basic customer service. I ordered the chicken thali, and the portion of chicken gravy provided was shockingly small which was not even enough for two chapatis and a bowl of rice. When I politely requested a little extra gravy, I was curtly told I’d have to order an entire additional thali to get any. This kind of rigid and unaccommodating attitude is not what one expects when dining out. Definitely not worth the price or the hype! One of the best spots I’ve visited in a long time. The ambience was great, and the food was absolutely delicious. My friend and I ordered the Mutton Saoji Thali and Mutton Biryani—both dishes truly impressed us with their taste. The only feedback is that the service was a bit slow, but the staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, it's highly recommended if you're a non-veg lovers. I came across Orange City Saoji through a friend’s recommendation, and I must say — they serve truly authentic Nagpur-style Saoji Thalis right here in Mumbai! We tried the Paya Thali and Chicken Thali. The thali includes: Soft roti, rice, bakri, spicy paya curry, dry paya, extra rassa, and gulab jamun — packed with bold, rich Indian masalas and full of flavour. If you’re into spicy, desi food with depth, this is a must-try. Their spices and chefs are from Nagpur, which explains the authenticity. The restaurant also has a nice orange-themed sitting space that clearly reflects some thought behind the Nagpur vibes. They’re currently offering a 15% discount on the total bill, which makes the visit even better. Will definitely be returning whenever I’m in Andheri!
