I recently dined at Opera Grill Restaurant, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The ambience of the restaurant is welcoming and comfortable, offering a relaxed atmosphere that makes it an enjoyable place for a meal. The decor is tasteful, contributing to a cozy yet vibrant setting for diners. However, one downside was the long preparation time. While the food was freshly prepared, the wait for our meals was longer than expected, which might be a consideration for those in a hurry. Now, let’s talk about the food. The Ragi Mudha with Natukodi Pulusu was the highlight of the meal. The ragi mudha was perfectly cooked, and the natukodi pulusu had a wonderful depth of flavor. The combination of these two dishes was absolutely mouthwatering, with the richness of the pulusu complementing the earthiness of the ragi mudha beautifully. The portion size for this dish was generous and satisfying. The Bamboo Chicken was another standout, especially for spice lovers. It was extremely spicy, which was exactly to our liking. The heat from the spices was well-balanced with the smoky flavor of the chicken, making it a memorable dish for those who enjoy bold flavors. On the other hand, the Chicken Biryani was somewhat disappointing. The taste was average, and the portion size was quite small—barely enough for one person. Given the reputation of the restaurant, I expected a larger serving for the price. In conclusion, Opera Grill Restaurant offers a good dining experience with excellent dishes like the Ragi Mudha with Natukodi Pulusu and Bamboo Chicken. However, the long wait time and the small serving of biryani could use some improvement.
