If you're anywhere near Nainital or passing through the Smanora Range, Chandan Meat Rice Dhaba is an absolute must-stop. I tried their mutton rice locally known as Shikaar Bhaat, and it was hands down one of the most flavorful meals I’ve had in a long time. The mutton was tender, perfectly spiced, and paired beautifully with the simple, aromatic rice. It reminded me of home-cooked Kumaoni flavors, rich with tradition and heart. The place itself is humble, with outdoor seating and a no-frills vibe, but the food more than makes up for it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
