It used be a must visit for all Coonoor trips. The food is not as good as the previous place. But happy to see beef burgers. The owner/ manager shouldn’t compel local staff working in the restaurant to speak only Hindi. It’s better learn Tamil and they have learnt English to communicate. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I had a deeply disappointing experience at Open Kitchen Restaurant Pizzeria & Burgers. I was shocked to be refused access to the washroom unless I made a purchase. This policy is incredibly frustrating and unwelcoming, especially in urgent situations where someone might need to use the facilities but isn’t ready to order due to time constraints or other reasons. I was even willing to pay a fee just to use the restroom, but the staff mentioned it was only available to customers making a purchase. Additionally, there were no public washrooms nearby, and the staff's refusal to accommodate my urgent need was both unreasonable and inhumane. Such a restrictive approach to customer service is disappointing and reflects poorly on the establishment. While I understand the need to manage resources, basic amenities like restrooms should be accessible to everyone at least if there is an urgency. This experience has left me with a very negative impression, and I won’t be returning. I hope the management reconsiders this policy and adopts a more customer-friendly approach in the future.
