Oopar is the rooftop restaurant connected to Gurukripa. I visited the place in January, the weather was amazing, breezy and almost chilly. The music was a real mood lifter.. A mix of everything and a definite bias towards Coke Studio.

The space is a little crammed as too many tables are spread in a limited place. There's a huge screen which could entice sports lovers, for sure.

The food is a little above average. Had the rawa fried pomfret, chilly chicken and ande ke nakhre. The ande ke nakhre stayed on my mind for weeks - it had a fusion of minced lamb, prawns, chicken and boiled egg white. Yum.

The drinks are much lighter on the pocket vis a vis the places in and around Powai. My friend and I had a fun night. Priyesh Sharma
