This restaurant is only 1.5 km from Newtown Main Point. The hotel serves a variety of juices, teas, snacks, sweets, cakes etc. The food is very tasty and not expensive. The owner and the entire staff are very polite and humble. The hotel has AC rooms with beautiful seating arrangements. Om Sweets definitely serves tasty sweets and their food is quite decent too. That part I really appreciate. But what ruins the experience every time is the behaviour of the staff. Starting from the person at the billing counter to the ones serving food, and even the manager — everyone behaves with an unnecessary attitude, as if they are doing a huge favour. It honestly feels like they are IAS or IPS officers, not people working in hospitality. Why such arrogance? Customers come here for good food and sweets, not to deal with rude behaviour. Om Sweets and Snacks is located near Bishorjon Ghat in Newtown. The place is all vegetarian. We ordered a dahi vada. The food was very good and service was quick. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The interior is well decorated.
