I had one of the worst experiences at this place today. I visited Off The Record alone, looking forward to a good time, but unfortunately, the staff completely ruined the evening. A person named Sakthi (I believe he is the floor manager or supervisor) was incredibly rude and arrogant. His behavior towards solo guests — especially stags — is appalling. The way he treated me made me feel like I was unwelcome and not even considered a paying customer. The attitude was condescending and disrespectful, as if I was there for a free ride. Hospitality and basic courtesy are fundamental, especially in a place that claims to be part of Chennai’s nightlife. If your team can’t respect all guests equally, then you’re in the wrong business. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the management. I will definitely not recommend this place to anyone, and I hope the management seriously reconsiders who they’re putting in charge of guest experiences.
