Kushk Mahal is worth visiting before tasty meals at this restaurant. Guests state that it's fine to go here for the Indian meal. If hungry, come here for tasty baked fish, fried chicken and fish fried rice.
The energetic staff at Odisha Niwas can show how much they appreciate their customers. The fine service is something these restaurateurs care about. Also, clients recommend this place because of low prices. When inside, the ambiance is lovely.

We ordered Mutton and fish, with Veg thali.. while the veg thali was average, not bad but the Mutton and the fish was way worst, you can’t cook like a moron and represent Odia’s cuisine outside Odisha. We went to the manager and complained regarding this, that fellow manager had no etiquette on how to talk and address our concern instead he was behaving like an rouge ass, such an obnoxious person, such a disgrace. I’m going to escalate this matter, I’m going to tweet and these disgusting people should be removed immediately and they should be taught on how to behave to be respectful to the customers. I’m an Odia, I’ve travelled all the parts, to it’s remote locations in Odisha, I know what Odia food taste like.

Behaviour of the manager Mr Das is very bad , don’t know how to talk to a female and poor customer service. They ill treated us as if we were having food free of cost. Very bad mannerism when you reach at the door step of the restaurant in an empty stomach and expecting some good food and alas little bit of sensible behaviour.Food quality is average and the treatment is worse.

Whenever u feel the urge of having some authentic odia delicacies, the canteen in Odisha Niwas is d place I always look for. In my last visit I had a Pakhala bhata thali , which came with wide varieties of authentic odia spreading & combined it with machha bhaja & kankada tarakari to make it threesome. After an awesome lunch ended up having Rasagola,chhenapoda& malpua. Though malpua was a bit disappointing but Rasagola made my day. You can feel the aroma of fresh chhena in the Rasagola. They should just try to add more typical odia vegetarian options to make the gastronomic experience Perfect.
