Despite paying 4000 plus, room lacked basic amenities. No hand towel, no shoe shiner. Bath room was bad planned. Toiletries provided were of poor quality. Only provided 2 water bottles of 200 ml each against generally provided 1 litre water. Breakfast was very basic. No choice at all. No value for money.

Great location, friendly staff especially the front office team were very helpful. Room services were quick and helpful. Clean and tidy rooms. A must stay place if you are travelling to Dimapur.

The Oak House is conveniently located to the Dimapur Railway Station, District Hospital, bakery, daily market, and Kachari Ruins. The staff are incredibly friendly and service minded. The cafe serves great food with reasonable prices and superb service. Be aware that the hotel is undergoing construction. Be prepared for temporary power outages as the city turns off the power periodically. The hotel has an inverter for partial power and a generator for full power. You do need to ask reception to turn the generator on. My room was large, clean, and comfortable. The toothbrushes were greatly appreciated. The window looked out onto the construction area.
