I had high hopes for Nutmeg after seeing all the hype online — probably thanks to influencer promotions (paid, most likely sigh). We ordered the Lemon Tart and the Chocolate Temptation. Let’s start with the Lemon Tart — or should I say, Biscuity Confusion. The base was too hard, the lemon cream was barely there, and worst of all, it didn’t even taste like lemon. I’ve had far better tarts. I’d give it a generous 3.5/10. Now for the real disappointment: the Chocolate Temptation. Looked pretty in the display, but that’s where the compliments end. It was dry, hard, and tasted like it had been sitting there for ages. Definitely not fresh. Eating it was a task — it literally felt like it got stuck in our throats. Mood = ruined. Solid 2/10. Overall, just another aesthetic café with Instagrammable vibes but zero taste to back it up. If you want a sugar rush and sadness combo, this is the place. Otherwise, skip. An aesthetic place serving the best desserts in the town.... The food was quite good.... I recommend to try their chocolate croissant.. And blue berry tart and their dry cakes fr..
