I recently visited the Zodiac Restaurant at Fortune Hotel for the Konkan Thali Food Festival, and it was an incredible experience! The festival offered both non-veg and veg thalis, each consisting of 15 dishes with a unique and authentic taste of Konkan cuisine.Starting with the Rawa Fried Prawns and Kothimbir Vadi with Green Chutney, the flavors were fresh and distinct. The Chicken Sukha was deliciously spiced, while the refreshing Solkadi was the perfect drink to complement the meal.The main course was equally impressive with a variety of dishes like Bharleli Vangi, Vala Che Bharid, Shevgya Che Shenga, and Batata Che Bhaji. For the non-veg lovers, the Mutton Malvani and Fish Curry were rich in traditional flavors, and the Masala Bhaat paired well with the Tamda Rassa. The meal was rounded off beautifully with Varan and Shrikhand, making it a satisfying experience.The staff was extremely polite, attentive, and ensured we had a great time. It’s a wonderful place to spend quality time with family, and the ambiance is perfect for long, relaxed meals. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Konkan flavors in a cozy setting!
