I recently had the pleasure of visiting Northern Haveli in Bhwanigarh, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. We decided to try their specialty, the gurr wali chaah (jaggery-infused tea), and it was a perfect blend of warmth and sweetness. The infusion of jaggery gave the tea a unique and distinct flavor, which made it truly enjoyable. In addition to the tea, we indulged in their Desi Ghee Churi, and it was a treat for the taste buds. The churi had an authentic desi flavor that transported me back to the traditional culinary delights. The use of desi ghee added a rich and indulgent taste to the dish, making it a memorable experience. What impressed me further was the attention to detail in recreating the old pind style culture at Northern Haveli. The grand wooden gate and statues added a touch of heritage and nostalgia to the place. It felt like stepping into a bygone era, immersing oneself in the rich cultural heritage of Punjab.
