Poor Hospitality & Misleading Policies I recently stayed at Hotel Orange, Agra at holi weekend, and faced an extremely disappointing experience regarding their late check-out policy and overall service. 1. Late Check-Out Denied Despite Availability We requested a late check-out, which is a standard courtesy in the hospitality industry, especially if the hotel has available rooms. However, the staff outrightly denied our request, stating that the hotel was fully booked. Interestingly, when we checked online (MakeMyTrip) on the same day, rooms were still available for booking. This clearly means that rooms were vacant, but they still refused to accommodate us. It appears that the hotel prioritizes new check-ins over existing guests' comfort, which is highly unprofessional. 2. Lack of Hospitality & Guest Consideration Most hotels offer at least a 1-2 hour late check-out based on occupancy, without extra charges, as a goodwill gesture. However, in our case, they refused outright without any consideration of our situation. 3. Unnecessary Inconvenience & Poor Customer Care Due to their rigid policy, we were forced to wait outside in harsh sunshine as our bus was scheduled later in the day. A simple accommodation of an extra hour or two could have made a huge difference in our experience, but the hotel chose to be inflexible. Rooms: Misleading Photos & Room Quality The rooms looked nothing like the photos shared online. The images showcased modern, well-lit, and spacious accommodations, but in reality, the rooms were small, poorly maintained, and lacked proper cleanliness. The furnishings seemed outdated, and the overall ambiance was dull and uninviting. This felt like a clear case of false advertising. Food and drinks: Poor Food Quality & Dining Experience The restaurant service was slow, and the food was highly disappointing. Some key issues: Taste & Quality: The food was bland and lacked freshness. Some dishes even seemed reheated instead of freshly prepared. Hygiene Issues: The cutlery and plates were not cleaned properly, which raised concerns about hygiene. Noteworthy details: Not Worth the Price Given the misleading photos, poor food quality, and lack of proper service, the hotel does not justify its pricing. There are far better options available in Agra at the same or even lower price range. Rooms: 1 Service: 1
