When you are confused about what to eat there is always pizza ?.
Oh what a Pizza it was. The taste still lingers. I am so glad that Nomad Pizza in now in Bangalore.
Lately we have mostly been eating homemade pizza as my son has mastered the art of making thin crust pizzas and cheese burst pizzas - and honestly the ones he makes at home are so fresh,tasty and piping hot that the urge to eat store bought pizza has kind of dissipated.
The other day however we DID eat restaurant made pizza (sitting at home). This was a different kind, from a different brand and I am so glad I opened my mind and my mouth to eat this.
Chicago Deep Dish Pizza (Double Pepperoni) looked like exquisite artwork - as opposed to a messy concoction of dough, cheese and toppings thrown together as an afterthought. Indeed the person making it took pride in his/her creation. Each cubic inch was equally tasty (including the borders which in normal pizzas we try to discard) Even the vertical cross section of the pizza showed multiple layers of fillings. It was so so good. I kind of felt that I had died and gone to heaven.
2 of us were full after sharing one 10 inch pizza - it was THAT full of filling and toppings. No empty calories here.
Oh I almost forgot to talk about the Garlic Pizza sticks. They were so nice - full of flavour and visually appealing to the eyes - that they got over in no time
The packaging of the Pizzas and the Garlic Pizza Sticks was amazing. There was no scope of spillage and there were airing holes to prevent the piping hot food from getting soggy.
The packaging even had instructions for reheating the Pizza. We reheated one pizza as per the instructions given and it tasted like it was made fresh. That was a pleasant surprise indeed.
We had the Chicago deep Dish Pizza - there are many other interesting options at this outlet like Naples Pizza, NY Pizzas well as Pizzas from Spain,Turkey Poland, Korea, Italy, India, Armenia and Georgia. I can't wait to try them all
