With a new Pizza chain coming up every week, there needs to be a strong differentiating factor and value creation for the brands to survive. I recently tried Nomad Pizzas - a new entrant with currently 3 outlets in Bangalore - Indiranagar, Whitefield and HSR layout.
What's unique about this brand is they offer excellent packaging to ensure the pizza arrives at your place in perfect shape to eat. There are steam holes all around to vent the steam, and also a corrugated base, so the pizza base does not sweat and become limp.
Another unique thing is their "Traveller series" - with pizzas from multiple countries on offer. Of all the pizzas I tried, the Chicago deep dish was my favorite - with a solid filling, thin base, yet managing to hold an inch high stuffing!
