The outlet is quite far from the main city but once there it is a different experience all together the potato roll and paneer tikka Kathi are good..the mint chutney is nice ...the rolls though good but not as good as compared to delhi outlet.
This place is opened too far from the main city in IREO WaterFront. I specially went there to try muglai food. The menu items are around fifteen items.
They are calling boiled chicken in rice chicken biryani. It was diet chicken biryani no salt no spices just plane rice and boiled chicken in it.
The cost of lacha parantha is 80 rupees which is too high in comparison with restaurant serving it in model town.
Overall I did not liked it and I feel I wasted my money.
Nizam's entry in Ludhiana was quiet but effective. They chose a place that's out of the city and currently treated as a picnic spot by many - Ireo waterfront, an upcoming township that attracts many city's zens because of its serene environment and the lake, who come to spend a good time. Ireo hasn't opened doors to any other outlets owing its commitment to bring out exclusive things. They've let one of their villa to the restaurant. The setting is perfect, one can't ask for more.... But delivery.... Below average.
When one hears about Delhi's nizam... The taste of rolls automatically rolls in your mouth. The succulent stuffing and their flavorful green chutney make you feel delighted with their rolls. But nizam's outlet in Ludhiana is a far cry from the actual tastes that nizam offers. That's why it hasn't got the fan following that it was supposed to get. It is just because of absence of any other eatery that nizam's is getting some attention.
So starting with my review -
Access & Parking - the outlet is located in the ireo township (not in the model Town area as listed on Zomato) which is 8-9 kilometers from the ferozepur road. Travelling is a beautiful experience alongside the sidhwan canal towards South City, and it gets even better if mausam devta is in good mood. Parking is not at all a problem. Full marks to this section.
Ambience & Service - Ireo have let one of their constructed villa to the eatery. The ground floor houses the small restaurant. Again full marks to this section. The ambience is great. Seating is comfortable, a projector TV adds to the zing. Cleanliness is worth commendation.
Service is usually quick and hassle free. Order is presented to your table within 5-10 minutes. Staff is courteous. They score well again.
Food - Negative marking in this section takes away all the positives from the previous ones. Seriously, owing to all the good things written above, food plays the spoilsport and takes away all the glory. Quality is just about okay and the tastes are a big time flop. Menu doesn't have much depth and hardly one or two things for the vegetarian clan. The non vegetarian stuff is no where near to the offerings in the city. Their signature rolls cry for attention.
Verdict - Oonchi dukaan... Bahut Hi bekaar pakwaan is how truly this can be described.
