While exploring the beautiful ghats of Varanasi, we came across Niyati Cafe near Dashashwamedh Ghat, and it turned out to be one of the most comforting food experiences of our trip. Varanasi is undoubtedly famous for its incredible street chaat and local snacks, and trying them is part of the experience. But after a while, all the fried and spicy street food can start to feel a bit repetitive, and that’s when you begin craving something simple and comforting. That’s where Niyati Cafe truly stands out. As tourists, you often miss the feeling of home-cooked food while traveling. But the moment we started eating here, it genuinely felt like we were having a meal at home. The food was simple, fresh, and full of warmth — the kind that satisfies both your stomach and your heart. Their thaali is a must-try, perfectly balanced and filling. The aloo palak, aloo gobhi, and dal fry were absolutely delicious — rich in flavor yet wonderfully homely, just like food cooked with care. Another lovely thing I noticed was that many foreign tourists were also enjoying Indian food here, which says a lot about the authenticity and welcoming vibe of the place. What made the experience even better was the hospitality. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. After a long day exploring the ghats and the spiritual energy of Varanasi, finding a place like Niyati Cafe truly feels like discovering a little piece of home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comforting, authentic food near Dashashwamedh Ghat. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
