South Indian breakfasts are a celebration of simplicity, flavor, and tradition and my recent experience was nothing short of magical. The idlis were a dream , soft, pillowy, and steaming hot, just the way they should be. When dipped into the fresh coconut chutney, every bite felt light yet deeply satisfying. The sambar was a warm hug , mildly spicy, loaded with vegetables, and rich with the aroma of tempered mustard seeds and curry leaves. Then came the crispy dosa , golden, paper-thin, with a delightful crunch that gave way to a soft center. Paired with a dollop of spicy tomato chutney, it was impossible to stop at one bite. Special mention must go to the pongal , a creamy, peppery comfort dish that felt like a festival on a plate. Every mouthful was buttery, seasoned with black pepper and cumin, topped with a few crispy cashews. The meal ended with a piping hot filter coffee served in a traditional steel tumbler strong, aromatic, and sweet enough to complete the experience on a high note. Not to miss the nongu milk and almond tart . A must try! Highly recommend and will definitely come again ! First time eating here. Read recommended by my driver. The food was not bad. Had the limited meals as I don't eat too much. Food was tasty. What was great was the service of Mr Vijaya Kumar who was serving me. Was genuine in his smile and service. Appreciated it very much in a very transactional city.
