Mexican and Thai cuisines are nice at this restaurant. If you look through the guests' comments, the staff is competent at Nita Mehta's Kelong. Enjoyable service is something visitors appreciate here.
Honestly my first visit was not so good but my second n after then visits were really gud .. U have to b choosey while ordering in this restaunt many dishes are no tasty as u expected
Nita Mehta, a cookbook writer whose books dominated the Indian cookbook scenario for years made debut into fine dining restaurant with Kelong at Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana. Expectations were sure to be big. Delivery so far, has been good. Preparation which must've been subjected to the most acidic tests suited my taste buds.
Okay, so starting with my review...
Access & Parking - Quite easy. Located on the always buzzing Malhar Road, reaching Kelong is easy. Yes, during the weekends, the road tends to clog up, but you can take alternate routes to get there. Parking during the weekends could be a task, but thankfully, the restaurant has Valet parking facility which is quite a respite.
Ambience & staff - The decor is good and quite a few options in seating are available like in a lounge style, bar setting etc. Service is okay and staff is quite courteous.
Food - Now the main part... Food was good. Nothing very special to boast of but the flavours made a mark. Food menu offers depth and variety across different cuisine. Preparation was up to the mark of any good fine dine restaurant. Bar manu lacked variety and quite a few items were out of stock (something that left a real bad taste). Chicken tikka was succulent, crispy corns were good although not authentic, baked veg was tasty.
All in all... I would recommend you to must try this place. A good place to have a good meal with your family and friends.
