Sri Ranganathar Temple is a great attraction for tourists who come to eat at Nila Restaurant after long walks. Taste something unusual from the Indian cuisine. Most visitors highlight that the service is professional.
Kerala or the Malabar cuisine is the hot favorite of seafood enthusiasts, their use of coconut and coconut oil in almost everything gives a spectacular taste; Here in nila it's no difference you can try out different preparations of prawns, crabs, squids, fishes, etc.
The restaurant is cozy with charming ambience nothing is overdone, service is quick since most of the tables are empty even during peak hours you can really enjoy that special care.
Tried their prawns biriyani and grilled prompfet,They serve thalassery style biriyani and it had huge quantity of prawns tucked in. The grilled promfet tasted absolutely delicious, grilled to perfection and dripping with a sauce made of mint each bite tasted heavenly.
Some of the must haves that I would recommend are Karimeen pollichathu it is a true dish to die for, Squid masala, prawns biriyani and Parotta with their kerala chicken masala that has chunks of coconut in it or just try the authentic fish curry meals to relish in the tastes that gods own country has to offer.
When they opened they were really good, their biriyani & Kerala Chicken fry, Chilly porotta were my fav. Last few visits haven't been great hope they come back to their best. I am rating this high for my previous experience.
