Had a really satisfying experience with Nikunjam Restaurant, Vazhuthacaud, even though we ordered the food as takeaway. The packaging was neat, the food stayed fresh and hot, and you could still feel the authentic Trivandrum flavours at home. One of the absolute highlights was their all-time favourite Trivandrum style Chilly Chicken — perfectly spiced, flavorful, and cooked just right. It had that classic local taste that Nikunjam is known for. Along with that, everything we ordered felt well-prepared, with good portions and consistent quality. Even as takeaway, the quality didn’t drop — which says a lot about the restaurant’s standards. Pricing felt reasonable, and the overall experience was smooth and satisfying. Overall: A reliable spot in Vazhuthacaud for authentic Trivandrum-style food — especially their famous chilly chicken, which is a must-try even if you’re ordering takeaway. ️.
