Ordered Hot n sour soup, penne alfredo and special momos. While the soup was okay, the other two items were pathetic. Momos were dry and the penne was cold and bland

I stayed in McLeodganj for 39 nights and visited most days. I have been coming here for years. The workers are really nice and efficient . Please remember to put a tip in the (communal) tip box at the cash desk because they all work very hard and for long hours. There’s always a lovely, calm atmosphere there and it’s THE go-to place for foreigners- good for making contacts and exchanging information, etc. There is a very good range of vegetarian food: extensive breakfast menu; pancakes and porridge; fresh fruit and muesli, cornflakes; a good hot and cold beverage selection; sandwiches; soups; snacks; bruschetta; gnocchi; ravioli; pizza; lasagne and cannelloni; salads; rice dishes; Tibetan food; Korean noodles, cakes and deserts. All very well cooked. Wow! Good food at reasonable prices. TOP TIP: often packed at lunch and in the evening, especially in Summer months. Highly recommended. I had high expectations for Nick's Italian Kitchen, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The food was completely bland—even the pasta lacked any real flavor. Service was painfully slow and inattentive, making the whole experience frustrating. To make matters worse, even the desserts were subpar. The carrot cake with cream cheese, in particular, was just bad. The only saving grace was the ambiance, but that alone isn't enough to make me want to return. Definitely not worth the hype!
