It's my favourite ice cream joint. The richness of their ice creams and the spot on flavours loaded with nuts/fruit wherever required is something not to be missed. Probably that's the reason why I always think of clicking a picture and forget cuz I get too busy gobbling up my ice cream. My favourite flavours are pecan, macadamia and chocolate.
New Zealand Natural / Nirvana Courtyard Complex / South City II / Gurgaon
Today, it was raining and the weather was really good when I halted at the Nirvana Courtyard Complex in the general area of south city 2 for some shopping. Zomato drives me crazy as times as I start spotting food outlets/ restaurants/bakeries & cafes any where I go to. The complex is amazing and very posh. People living in and around this place dwell in luxurious housing societies and as such, the standard of every shop / outlet here is excellent.
I have visited Nirvana Courtyard couple of times as its not far from my house but this was my first visit at this outlet for a lil scoop of ice cream - keeping the fantastic rainy day in mind. The idea was to have an ice cream but I ended up having a cup of frozen yoghurt. Its an ideal substitute for a creamy and fatty ice cream - for me.
There is a sitting area in the upper portion of the small yet well managed outlet. Ms Renu Sharma is the owner of the outlet and I happened to speak to her on phone for couple of minutes to know more about her business plans. Most of the people who visit this outlet are from nearly housing societies and this place is doing rocking business.
There are board games for children kept in the upper area of the outlet. For the grown ups, there are magazines kept in there for reading while sipping their coffee.
Overall, a nice place to visit and try out some ice creams, yoghurt and more.. The difference between the outlets in the Sector-D Market and Nirvana Courtyard is distinct. The Nirvana Courtyard definitely has much posher outlets - not only food but other shops and outlets too. In the evenings, the entire complex of Nirvana Courtyard beams with excitement and enthusiasm akin to the DLF Cyber City.
