Dal khichdi was good, however there was no packaging for papad and onions. They were just thrown into the polythene bag. There should be proper packaging for every food item.

"I recently visited Suryoday Bhojnalay, and I would rate my experience as average. The restaurant has a simple and clean setting, which gives it a modest and comfortable vibe. It's a decent place if you’re looking for a casual meal, but there are definitely areas where improvement is needed. The food quality was a bit inconsistent. Some dishes, like the ["dal fry"], were quite flavorful and well-prepared. However, other items, such as ["the vegetable curry"], which comes with Thali could have been more flavorful and had a bit more seasoning. While the portions were generous, I felt that some dishes lacked the punch I was expecting. The service was reasonably prompt, but I did notice a bit of delay in getting our food. The staff was polite but seemed a little overwhelmed at times, which made the experience feel rushed. It would be great if they paid more attention to customer needs, especially when the place is busy. The ambiance is basic, with no standout décor or unique touches. It’s clean and functional, but nothing that will make you remember the experience long-term. There could be a bit more attention to creating a welcoming atmosphere for diners. Overall, Suryoday Bhojnalay is a decent spot for a quick and affordable meal.
