Rating:. I recently visited New Mamta Sweets Sitarganj and was extremely disappointed with their service. I was shocked to find out that they charge extra money for sitting beyond 40-45 minutes, which means if you don’t finish your food within that time frame, you’re essentially forced to eat it quickly. This might make sense for a small meal, but what if you’ve ordered a large amount of food? Are customers expected to rush through it? What's worse is that these terms and conditions are buried at the bottom of the last page of the menu in tiny print, making it nearly impossible to notice. None of the staff members informed us about this policy either. It wasn't until we had exceeded the time limit that a staff member casually mentioned that we would be charged extra for staying longer. We quickly finished our food and went to settle the bill, only to find an additional charge of over ₹1000 for the extra sitting time. When we raised our concerns, the staff member admitted it was his mistake for not informing us earlier. However, when we approached the owner to discuss the matter, instead of apologizing, he blamed us and was extremely rude. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and it completely ruined what should have been a pleasant dining experience. I do not recommend this place unless you want to be treated poorly and overcharged for your meal. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
