Nestled near the Vinobapuri metro station on Veer Sawarkar Marg in New Delhi, New Bharat Sweets Corner is an established spot dedicated to satisfying sweet cravings with traditional Indian desserts. Operating daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, this shop has earned a reputation over the years for its delicious range of sweets, capturing the essence of festive times with its diverse offerings.
Visitors have often returned for their famous Sindhi savories, particularly highlighting their singar mithai as a favorite. Additional recommendations include the coconut barfi and milk cake, with many patrons gifting these treats to friends and family. The establishment offers a moderate price range, making it accessible to a broad audience.
Although visitor feedback reflects on positive experiences and memorable flavors, no recent reviews are available beyond five years ago. This absence of updated information might suggest operational changes or reflect consistency in their service and offerings. Despite the dated feedback, New Bharat Sweets Corner remains a notable stop for those exploring the rich tapestry of Indian confectionery.
You know it's festival time when you enter this shop..... A one stop destination for all who want their sweettoothsatisfied ????????????.....this place is one of the oldest sweet shops with many branches all over delhi....they are famous for their sindh savouries..... with singar mithai as one of their bestselling item....
I love this little sweet shop (also because it is located really closeby). They serve barfis that taste pretty good. In fact they are better than the ones we get at the popular sweet shops. Their coconut burfi, milk cake and pineapple burfis are my all time favourites. If you happen to be nearby, get some packed for home. Your parents will love it.
One of my relatives lives in Lajpat Nagar and brought sweets from New Bharat Sweets Corner and thats how I know about this shop. The box had 2 kinds of sweets - coconut burfi and sev ki burfi (which is made up of seviyyan).
Â
To my surprise the coconut burfi was crunchy and smooth at the same time and not steeped in sugar. I usually don't like coconut burfi but this was really delicious. Sev ki burfi was out of this world. Pleasantly surprised by the taste of the sweets I visit this shop often.
All the sweets are cooked in desi ghee and are indeed delicious. The sweets are packed well, each one gently cocooned in a rolled up parchment of butter paper. They make very limited, however mouthwatering sweets - coconut burfi, chocolate burfi, Karachi halwa, sev ki burfi, besan ki burfi and panjiri.

A true contender for the catagory - "Hidden Gem".
