During my recent visit to Mumbai, I had a great experience at New Airport Restaurant, conveniently located, just a short distance from Mumbai International Airport. This place is truly a hidden gem for travelers looking for delicious food at affordable prices in the airport area. Their Boneless Chicken dishes are perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. I really enjoyed their Tandoor starters—fresh, juicy, and served hot from the grill. The Butter Garlic Naan was soft, aromatic, and paired beautifully with their spicy gravies. I highly recommend their Chicken Handi, Chicken Angara, and Chicken Tikka Masala. One of the best things about this restaurant is the wide variety of cuisines available. Besides excellent Mughlai food, they also serve Chinese, Lebanese, Indian, and Arabian dishes, giving you plenty of options to satisfy any craving. The menu offers items like Shawarma, Hummus, Chicken Manchurian, Fried Rice, and more along with their signature Mughlai dishes like Mutton Rogan Josh, Chicken Lazeez, and Bheja Masala. What really impressed me was the pricing—the rates are surprisingly cheap compared to other restaurants in the airport area. I recently had a truly awful experience at New Airport Restaurant. From start to finish, it was a major letdown. First, I was shocked when they refused to serve regular water, pushing only bottled options. This is a basic expectation at any restaurant. To add to the woes, the food was exorbitantly priced, especially given the quality. The most disturbing issue, however, was the unhygienic environment. Flies and other insects were constantly falling into our plates while we were eating, making the entire meal incredibly unappetizing and frankly, disgusting. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing visit. I would strongly advise others to avoid this establishment if they value basic service, reasonable prices, and a clean dining experience.
