Radisson is not a 5 star hotel anymore. I booked the reservation categorically calling out that it’s an anniversary celebration. I experienced Neung Roi back in 2018 and their good food and overall experience was very good. Unfortunately, yesterday experience was poor and I don’t think I would visit again. Bad experiences Ambience - Seems run down and just the same as I experienced back in 2018 Service - I couldn’t catch the name of the man who was assigned to our table. He seemed like he hates his job. He had no smile or interest in his face, listening skill was poor and the worst part, he forgot our anniversary. After I paid the bill, I had to literally speak to him to remind him of our anniversary and he was like I’m sorry I totally forgot and requested me to wait for a cake. I told him, no I’m now not interested, his response was like “ please take it, else the cake will be wasted”. That statement completely put me off, I’ve decided I’m not coming back and neither will recommend to any of my friends and family. Valet service - Apparently now you have to pay a fixed price of Rs 200 which is not a problem but could be a problem for other customers who are not used to such prices. Besides its customers call how much they like to pay. For a 5 star hotel, why a charge of Rs 200, clearly they’re not doing well. Anyways, when the car was delivered to me, usually 2 guys come to open both side of the door to let the customer board, I had to open the door for my wife and the valet guy just left the car and went away. The only plus was the food which was good, else it was the most pathetic experience my wife and I experienced yesterday. Never coming back. Dear Sanjay, Thank you for sharing your experience. It's concerning to hear that your visit did not meet your expectations, especially during such a special occasion as your anniversary. We apologize for the atmosphere that felt run down and for the service that did not reflect the standards we strive for. The lack of attention from the staff and the handling of your anniversary celebration are not what we aim to provide. We appreciate your feedback regarding the valet service as well, and we will take this into consideration for future improvements. It’s encouraging to know that you enjoyed the food, but we understand that overall experience matters greatly. Your insights are valuable, and we hope to have the opportunity to make your next experience more positive. Thank you again for your feedback. Warm Regards, Ashwni Kumar Goela Area General Manager, Radisson Hotel Group (South Asia)

A Culinary Voyage Across Asia at Soy x Neung Roi, Radisson Blu Plaza, Delhi My recent culinary journey led me to Soy x Neung Roi, a stunning gastronomic destination nestled inside the elegant Radisson Blu Plaza in Mahipalpur, New Delhi. Known for weaving together the diverse flavors of Thai, Pan-Asian, Japanese, and Peruvian cuisines under one roof, the restaurant promises — and delivers — a unique and immersive experience. The name Neung Roi, which translates to "One Hundred" in Thai, is more than just a name — it's a tribute to the hundred subtle nuances and regional specialties drawn from the four major culinary regions of Thailand: Isan, Lanna, South, and Central. This thoughtful homage truly reflects in every plate that comes to the table. What sets Soy x Neung Roi apart is its triptych of menus: 1. Neung Roi Menu – dedicated to authentic Thai dishes. 2. Soy Menu – celebrating Pan-Asian classics. 3. Nikkei 2.0 Menu – an exciting fusion of Japanese and Peruvian flavors. Intrigued by the innovation in the Nikkei 2.0 menu, I started my meal there. The Quinoa Karokke was a delightful surprise — crispy croquettes bursting with the nutty texture of quinoa, paired with an Andean sauce and a touch of truffle mayo that added depth and indulgence. Next came the Chicken & Scallion Gyoza, perfectly pan-seared and topped with crispy shallots, chili, and nori crisps — a brilliant play of textures and umami. The standout from this section had to be the Roasted Shoyu Chicken with Arroz Chaufa. Juicy, flavorful chicken with that comforting soy glaze sat beautifully atop a bed of Peruvian-style fried rice, making this dish the perfect cultural crossover. Craving some classic Asian fare next, I ordered from the Soy menu. The Prawn Tempura, with its light, crisp batter and a side of Kikkoman soya, hit all the right notes. I followed it up with the Avocado and Cucumber Roll — fresh, delicate, and refreshing — the kind of dish that resets your palate and makes room for more. Finally, it was time to explore the heart of the restaurant: the Neung Roi menu. I opted for the Mee Phad Kee Maow Pak Goong, or Bangkok-style drunken noodles with prawns, chili, and basil. The flavors here were bold, spicy, and perfectly balanced — exactly what one would expect from a dish born in the streets of Bangkok and refined in a luxury dining setting. What struck me the most about Soy x Neung Roi was how it managed to retain the authenticity of each cuisine while curating an experience that felt upscale, cohesive, and incredibly satisfying. From the buzzing energy of a Thai kitchen to the fusion creativity of Nikkei cuisine, every bite told a story. Whether you're a connoisseur of Asian cuisine or just looking to indulge in something extraordinary, Soy x Neung Roi is an unmissable experience. I left not just full, but fascinated — already planning my next visit to explore even more from this beautifully diverse me Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹2,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes
