The snacks are good. The prices are reasonable. The staff are generally friendly. The lunch is OK, but could be better. The veg thali includes a huge bowl of rice - too much for most normal eaters. I suggest allowing people to give a small bowl of rice and allow people to choose extra roti, extra vegetables, extra curds, or extra rice instead. Also, serving evening snacks all day would make the place more attractive. Also consider serving a mini thali with no rice.

Nesara multicuisine does not cater to gastronomical enthusiasts, rather it caters to students, professors and visitors of the IISc. And it does a decent job at that.
Yes there are problems. Yes the service is slow. Yes the food does not come hot. But nothing is taking away the fact that it is still always full to the brim and different groups share tables together because demand beats supply. Also, if you go in with low expectations, the food is decent.
The rates are not high, because it is mostly aimed towards affordability of students. It might also be subsidized, but I am not sure of that.
It is a big hall with different sized tables all around with servers and cleaners working in tandem. Nothing much to talk about the ambience otherwise.
All in all an okay place to eat if you are at IISc and you are hungry.
We had ordered cream of mushroom soup and paneer manchurian and both of them were awful. And on top of that, we had to wait for about an hour for no reason.
