Really terrible experience at Nerlu cafe. I came here on a Saturday afternoon, and after placing my order and working for 15-20 mins on my laptop, I was informed by the staff that laptop usage at the cafe was not allowed on weekends. Understandable that a cafe can set their own policy, but waiting for a customer to place the order to ensure they have to pay and then forcing them to not use their laptop is ridiculous and unethical. If this is informed initially, a person can decide whether they want to stay at the cafe or leave. But the fact that not one of their staff bothered to shows the kind of management they have. Definitely won’t be coming back.
