A Frustrating Experience My recent visit to this Specific Naturals Ice Cream was, unfortunately, defined not by the quality of their ice cream, but by the shockingly poor attitude of one of their senior staff members (possibly the manager). From the outset, the employee in question was rude and displayed a complete lack of understanding of basic customer service. Our party, which included a toddler, wished to sit outside where other members of our family were already seated. Despite there being chairs available, this employee refused to allow us to take one so our young child could sit safely and comfortably. The reason given was that they were "collecting all the chairs" to prepare for closing. While we understand shops have closing procedures, the manner of enforcement was both illogical and unreasonable. If the policy is so strict that no one may sit on the premises, then it is only fair and logical to also stop serving customers. To continue selling ice cream while actively preventing paying customers—especially families with small children—from using basic amenities is a contradiction that shows a blatant disregard for the customer experience. The employee's demeanor throughout was arrogant and unyielding, turning what should have been a simple, pleasant outing into a needlessly stressful situation. A business, especially one serving treats, should strive to create happy memories, not frustration. It’s a shame, as the product itself is often good. However, no ice cream is sweet enough to make up for such sour and unprofessional service. We will be rethinking future visits unless significant improvements are made in staff training and customer care.
