Natu Farms in Wai is a great place to experience Agri Tourism at its best. The restaurant offers a wide variety of authentic Maharashtrian dishes, with most of the raw materials sourced from their own farm. The food is simple yet tasty and the ambience is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by trees and nature. The service is self-service but the staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is available for both cars and two wheelers. The prices are on the higher side but worth it for the quality of food and the wonderful experience. Overall, Natu Farms is an excellent place to enjoy a meal in a rustic setting.
Rustic place right on the way to Mahabaleshwar before the ghat section begins. Go here for simple home style Maharashtrian food. Non spicy fair that goes easy on the palette and stomach. Loved their wangi chapati, amti bhat and puran poli (gudi padwa special). Waran bhat was okish and it lacked salt. For desert will recommend authentic and healthy gavache kheer (broken wheat porridge) which comes loaded with nutmeg flavour. This is nestled in the midst of large trees with lots of shade and farms in the backdrop. Will recommend only if you have a taste for Maharashtrian fair and are not expecting fancy dine in with pan indian cuisine. Service takes some time as everything is cooked to order so please be patient. Clean bathrooms were an added plus.
